Thank you for this article. I am just beginning to build a WordPress site. Your positive input was most welcomed.WP good for a blog as well?

I happened across you while surfing. Your career is exciting and interesting. I will follow your blog as I am a beginner. At 65, I’ve decided to pay attention to the fact that I’ve always like to write. So, with no formal journalism or writing education, off I go on the adventure of self learning.

We’re having problems with Google Docs at the moment. When printing or downloading, Google seems to break the pagination, leaving pages broken all over the place. In haste I changed links to Books 1 & 2 to PDFs on twukulele, but made a cut and paste error. You should now see Song Book 2

Re the newsletter – I can confirm, you are subscribed. I had disabled double opt-in, so you never got the opt-in email.

Hi Simon,

I stumbled upon the TWUNT website this lunch time while looking for a Uke club in east Kent.

Tried to subscribe but the link seems to be busted.

Also Song Book 2 looks a lot like Song Book 1 ;o)

Great website and looks like a fun group but Barry Peace’s Invicta crowd will be closer to me.

Keep on plucking and strumming it!

Hi! fellow ‘closet ukers’ !
a year or two ago with great difficulty I found the Marmite Uke Club of Maidstone. It was a relevation,and a lifeline for my struggling attempts to make sense of this wonderful instrument. I did seem to be the only one in kent interested in messing around with the uke.
It is with great interest that I now hear of your club! I too just enjoy banging away on the strings,with others of like mind, and playing a variety of music.
This all reminds me of the assumption that we on planet Earth are all alone in the universe. …
I had the same thoughts prior to finding the Marmite club!….. There is life out there somewhere,we just have to make the connection. by Uke I guess??
