I’ve just watched Rock and Chips, the prequel to Only Fools and Horses and I realy enjoyed it.  I didn’t know if it was a one off, or a series,so thought I’d Google it to find out.  Sadly I stumbled across this post on the Guardian www.guardian.co.uk and I saw RED!

From the wording, and comparison made in the comment, I suspect the author Stuart Hritage is:

• A: A Star Wars Die Hard Geek.
• B: Jealous of John Sullivan’s success.
• C: Clearly not of ‘Only Fools and Horses’ viewing Heritage.

Taken from the BBC site “Rock & Chips is advertised as the prequel to Only Fools and Horses, but it’s much more than just a prequel. It’s an opportunity to solve many mysteries, bury some lies and put a few ghosts to rest.”  I couldn’t agree more.  It was great to see Del’s mum and ‘Grandad’. 

Go on BBC (and John) - Carry on and turn it into a series and take it to the beginning!
